Jr A/B/C Evaluation Camp

The Green Gaels are joining the Whitby Warriors Junior A, Clarington Shamrox, and Whitby Warriors Junior C for a joint evaluation camp in Oshawa over the Christmas Holidays.

The joint evaluation camp is a continuation of the collaboration between all four junior clubs ahead of the 2025 season. The runs will be held at Children’s Arena (199 Arena Street) in Oshawa on the following dates and times:

  • Friday, December 27th                 7:00PM to 10:00PM
  • Saturday, December 28th            7:00PM to 10:00PM

The cost to attend is $30 total.

All players with birth years of 2004 through to 2008 from Clarington, Oshawa, and Whitby are invited to attend the evaluation camp. Any player residing outside of Clarington, Oshawa, or Whitby must have permission to run from their home centre in order to attend.

Please arrive at Children’s Arena forty-five minutes prior to the start time in order to register and be prepared to go on the floor at 7:00PM sharp.

All players are required to bring their own equipment. All players must be registered with the Ontario Lacrosse Association for the 2024 season (players are considered registered until December 31, 2024). Any players who did not register for the 2024 season, but wish to attend must notify us so that we can work to get you registered for insurance purposes.

Attendance at the combined evaluation camp is very highly recommended by all four Durham Region Junior teams. All four coaching staffs will be present in order to evaluate and prepare for the 2025 season. With the large number of Junior aged players away at school during the ‘normal’ Junior Lacrosse try-out window, this may be the only opportunity for you to be seen by the local coaching staffs before the season begins.

While this is an evaluation camp, it will also give players the opportunity to experience and develop at the highest levels of Junior Lacrosse.

If you are unable to attend the Evaluation Camp, please advise us of your intentions to play in 2024.
