Gaels lose weekend road trip
With a win at home Thursday night the Green Gaels headed out on the road this past weekend with things looking up. Back to back wins against divisional foes (Newmarket and West Durham) seemingly had the Gaels turning a corner midway through the season.
However back to back losses to Akwesasne and Kahnawake sent the Gaels home with more questions than answers. A weak mid east division however means that the Gaels sit 3 points up on second place Orillia with a game in hand and still in control with just 6 games remaining on the 2023 season.
The Gaels now look towards a home Game Thursday night at Rickard followed by back to back road games against the Kings. Three wins would lock up first place in the division and home floor advantage in round 1 of the playoffs.
It's time to move forward as there is so much left to play for.
