Bryce Dennis Named GM of Green Gaels
The Green Gaels are proud to announce another Green Gaels alumnus will be stepping forward to help lead the organization.
Bryce Dennis has been appointed as the General Manager of the Green Gaels Junior Lacrosse Club ahead of the 2025 season.
Former General Manager Paul Chamois is stepping back from his role with the club following 18 seasons in the position and 19 years total within the organization. He will continue to be involved in a minor role with the club but will not handle any day-to-day responsibilities.
Named captain of the 2023 Green Gaels team in his second season with the team, Bryce joined the management team ahead of the 2024 season as Assistant General Manager under Paul Chamois while he recovered from double shoulder surgery during which he missed his final season of Junior eligibility. Bryce currently attends Guelph University where he is enrolled in the Sports Management program and competes for the Guelph Gryphons Mens Lacrosse team.
“While this selection will make Bryce the youngest General Manager in the OJBLL, there is no doubt that we feel he is a great fit for the position and the right person to lead our management team along with the coaching staff. While he has big shoes to fill replacing my father as the General Manager, Bryce’s passion for the Green Gaels and Lacrosse leaves no doubt that he will continue to build on the successes of the organization” said Green Gaels President Matt Chamois.
After being appointed to the position, Bryce had this to say about the opportunity. “I am thrilled for the opportunity to remain with the Green Gaels organization as General Manager after graduating as a player. Paul has definitely left big shoes to fill after his 18-year tenure, but I feel I am fully capable of doing so after working underneath him learning from him last season. I look forward to this next step as part of the Green Gaels organization and have high hopes for the future of the team. I can’t wait to see the players back on the floor for the upcoming season.”
Bryce and entire management team are working hard with the Whitby Warriors Junior A team, the Clarington Shamrox Junior C team, and the Whitby Warriors Junior C team to prepare for the Joint Evaluation Camp taking place on Friday, December 27th and Saturday, December 28th at Children’s Arena in Oshawa. Any players interested in participating in the Evaluation Camp should RSVP with Bryce Dennis by email at bryce_dennis@outlook.com.
