Playoff Race heading into the final day

Monday Marks the Final day of the OJBLL Regular Season, with three games on tap, and much to be decided.

Nepean at Akwesasne

Green Gaels at Halton Hills

Orangeville at Brampton

What we know so far is that the Nepean Knights will win the Conference taking the first overall seed in the East. Followed by Orangeville in 2nd and the Green Gaels in 3rd. We also know that Brampton must defeat Orangeville in order to clinch the 8th and final playoff spot, a loss would see Orillia finish 8th.

Akwesasne and West Durham both sit tied for 4th with 24 points, Gloucester sits in 6th with 23 points and Halton Hills sits 6th with 22 points.

Akwesasne holds the tie breaker having downed the Ironheads 19-3 early in June, However a Halton Hills Victory and Akwesasne loss would lead to a 3 way tie for 4th.

Should Akwesasne and Halton Win Akwesasne will take 4th place, followed by Halton Hills in 5th and West Durham in 6th.

Playoff Matchups will be determined by the top 3 teams who will each pick there opponent from the 5-8th seeded teams. Nepean and Orangeville will pick 1st and 2nd before the Gaels chose between the remaining two teams. The 4th place team will then play whoever is left.

We will announce our playoff schedule and Opponent in the near future.
